Terms of Use

Last updated 11 September 2026 · Applies to Navidog, Navidog for SQL Server, Navidog for Oracle and Postgres & Friends on iOS, iPadOS and macOS.

1. The licence

These apps are licensed, not sold, to you. Unless the terms below say otherwise, Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement applies, and these terms add to it. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

2. What the app does

The app connects directly from your device to database servers you specify, and lets you browse, query and edit what those servers hold. It is a client. It stores no copy of your data and routes nothing through us — see the Privacy Policy.

3. Your responsibility for your data

You are responsible for having the right to access every server you connect to, and for what you do once connected. The app can change and delete data. Row edits, DELETE statements and anything you run in the SQL editor are executed against a real server and are not reversible by the app. Keep backups. Take particular care with production systems.

4. Free and Pro

The app is free to use with a limit on simultaneous connections and tabs. Pro removes those limits and unlocks the full SQL editor, CSV export and sharing, and additional themes.

Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) or as a one-time purchase that unlocks the same features permanently.

5. Subscriptions

6. Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. If something is broken, write to us first — we would rather fix it.

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will be compatible with every version of every database engine it names.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Trademarks

MySQL and Oracle are trademarks of Oracle Corporation. Microsoft SQL Server and Azure are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. PostgreSQL, SQLite, Redis, MongoDB and Cloudflare are trademarks of their respective owners. These apps are independent client software and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Engine names are used only to describe compatibility.

10. Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
